REFUND POLICY
Effective April 23 2026 V1.0
About this Policy
This Membership Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, billing disputes, membership payments, EcoPerks adjustments, and related matters are handled for the EcoPerks Rewards Program.
This Policy applies to monthly EcoPerks Rewards memberships, including memberships purchased through the EcoPerks Rewards website, approved payment platforms, promotional campaigns, referral links, affiliate links, or any other approved EcoPerks-approved channel.
This Policy should be read together with the EcoPerks Terms and Conditions, EcoPerks Program Rules, Travel Redemption Terms, Affiliate Terms and Conditions, Website Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, and any other terms, rules, policies, or notices published by EcoForce Global Australia from time to time.
Monthly Membership Model
EcoPerks Rewards memberships are provided on a monthly subscription basis.
By purchasing or activating a EcoPerks Rewards membership, the Member authorises EcoForce Global Australia to charge the nominated payment method each month until the membership is cancelled in accordance with this Policy and the EcoPerks Terms and Conditions.
EcoPerks Rewards does not currently offer annual membership plans. If EcoForce Global Australia introduces annual, promotional, complimentary, trial, discounted, grandfathered, or other membership options in the future, refund rights may vary depending on the terms attached to that membership offer.
Automatic Monthly Renewal
EcoPerks Rewards memberships automatically renew each month until cancelled by the Member. By purchasing or activating a membership, the Member acknowledges and agrees that:
the nominated payment method will be charged the applicable membership fee on the same date each month, or the nearest available date where that date does not exist in a given month;
the membership will continue to renew until the Member cancels in accordance with this Policy;
EcoForce Global Australia will send a renewal reminder by email before each monthly billing date, including a one-click cancellation link that allows the Member to cancel without contacting EcoPerks support;
the Member may also cancel at any time through the EcoPerks member portal or mobile app, without needing to contact EcoPerks support; and
cancellation must be completed before the next billing date to avoid being charged for the next monthly period.
If the Memberβs payment method changes, expires, or is updated, the renewal will be processed against the updated method on file.
No Lock-In Contract
EcoPerks Rewards memberships are designed to be flexible.
Members may cancel their monthly membership at any time. There is no long-term lock-in contract for standard monthly memberships.
Cancellation stops future recurring membership charges, provided the cancellation is completed before the next billing date.
Change-of-Mind Refunds
Membership fees are generally non-refundable once paid.
EcoForce Global Australia does not provide refunds, credits, or partial refunds simply because a Member changes their mind, forgets to cancel, does not use the membership, does not log in, does not earn EcoPerks, does not redeem EcoPerks, does not access member benefits, does not participate in the community, does not use travel agent services, or decides the membership is no longer suitable for their personal circumstances.
This includes cancellations made part way through a monthly billing period.
Cancellation Timing
Unless EcoForce Global Australia expressly agrees otherwise in writing, cancellation of a monthly membership takes effect at the end of the current paid monthly billing period.
This means the Member will usually continue to have access to applicable membership benefits until the end of the paid period.
After the cancellation takes effect, the Memberβs access to paid membership benefits, monthly EcoPerks allocations, member-only offers, travel redemption access, affiliate eligibility, and other applicable membership-tier benefits may cease, unless EcoForce Global Australia allows continued access under another membership category or separate arrangement. Treatment of EcoPerks already in the Memberβs account is set out in the section titled βEcoPerks After Cancellationβ below.
No Pro Rata Refunds
EcoForce Global Australia does not provide pro rata refunds or credits for unused portions of a monthly membership period, except where required by law or expressly approved by EcoForce Global Australia in writing.
For example, if a Member cancels halfway through a monthly billing period, the Member will not usually receive a refund for the unused part of that month.
Australian Consumer Law Rights
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights a Member may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable consumer protection laws.
Where EcoForce Global Australia is required by law to provide a refund, repair, replacement service, credit, compensation, or other remedy, EcoForce Global Australia will do so in accordance with its legal obligations.
Members may have rights under Australian Consumer Law where a service has a major problem, has not been provided with due care and skill, is not reasonably fit for purpose, or does not match the description, representation, or promise made by EcoForce Global Australia.
Unsolicited Consumer Agreements and Cooling-Off Period
In most cases, EcoPerks Rewards memberships are purchased by Members on their own initiative through the EcoPerks Rewards website, member portal, mobile app, or another approved self-serve channel. Memberships purchased in this way are not unsolicited consumer agreements and no statutory cooling-off period applies, although Members may cancel at any time in accordance with this Policy.
Where a membership is sold under an unsolicited consumer agreement (as defined in section 69 of the Australian Consumer Law) β for example, where a Member is approached in person, by telephone, or at a public location by a EcoPerks representative, affiliate, or authorised promoter without the Member having invited that contact for the purpose of negotiating a membership β the Member has a cooling-off period of 10 business days beginning on the day after the agreement is made, or, if the agreement was made by telephone, the day after the Member receives the written agreement.
During the cooling-off period, the Member may terminate the agreement by giving notice to EcoForce Global Australia in writing, by email, or by any other method permitted by the Australian Consumer Law. The Member is not required to provide a reason.
If the Member terminates within the cooling-off period:
any membership fees paid will be refunded in full;
any EcoPerks, status credits, referral rewards, affiliate benefits, or other rewards issued in connection with the cancelled membership payment will be reversed in accordance with this Policy; and
EcoForce Global Australia will not seek payment for any membership benefits accessed during the cooling-off period, except to the extent permitted by the Australian Consumer Law.
EcoPerks representatives, affiliates, and authorised promoters are required to comply with all disclosure, documentation, and conduct obligations under the Australian Consumer Law when selling memberships in person or by telephone, including providing a written copy of the agreement and a clear cooling-off notice.
Members who believe they have been signed up through an unsolicited approach and wish to exercise cooling-off rights should contact EcoForce Global Australia using the contact details set out in this Policy.
Refunds Required by Law
If a Member believes they are entitled to a refund or remedy under Australian Consumer Law or another applicable consumer protection law, the Member should contact EcoForce Global Australia and provide details of the issue.
EcoForce Global Australia may request reasonable information to assess the claim, including membership details, payment records, the date of the issue, the nature of the problem, and any relevant supporting information.
If EcoForce Global Australia determines that a refund or other remedy is required by law, EcoForce Global Australia will provide the appropriate remedy.
Promotional, Bonus, Trial, or Discounted Memberships
From time to time, EcoForce Global Australia may offer promotional, bonus, discounted, complimentary, trial, founder, launch, or special membership arrangements.
Unless stated otherwise in the specific promotional terms, any paid membership fees under these arrangements are subject to this Policy.
Promotional, bonus, complimentary, or trial benefits may have no cash value and may not be refundable, exchangeable, transferable, or redeemable for cash.
EcoForce Global Australia may withdraw, vary, suspend, or end a promotional offer in accordance with the terms of that offer and applicable law.
EcoPerks Issued on Membership Payments
Where EcoPerks, status credits, referral rewards, bonuses, commissions, promotional points, affiliate benefits, or other rewards are issued in connection with a membership payment, EcoForce Global Australia may reverse, cancel, withhold, suspend, or adjust those benefits if the related payment is refunded, reversed, dishonoured, disputed, charged back, cancelled, found to be fraudulent, or otherwise invalid.
This includes monthly EcoPerks issued for a paid membership and any related referral, affiliate, promotional, status, or bonus rewards.
EcoPerks After Cancellation
The treatment of EcoPerks after a Member cancels their membership depends on how those points were earned:
Points earned from membership payments (monthly EcoPerks allocations, sign-up bonuses, and status credits issued in connection with a paid membership) β these are tied to active membership and will expire on the date the cancellation takes effect. They cannot be redeemed after that date.
Points earned from purchases at participating merchants (points issued at merchant point-of-sale through the EcoPerks network) β these remain valid and redeemable after cancellation, subject to the inactivity rule set out below.
Promotional, bonus, or referral points β unless the specific promotional terms state otherwise, these remain valid and redeemable after cancellation, subject to the inactivity rule set out below.
Continued access after cancellation. After cancellation, the Member retains access to the EcoPerks network for the purpose of earning EcoPerks at participating merchants and redeeming previously earned points, even if they no longer hold an active paid membership. Membership-tier benefits, including monthly EcoPerks allocations, member-only offers, status credits, travel redemption access, and affiliate eligibility, are not available to cancelled Members unless they reactivate a paid membership.
Inactivity expiry. Points that survive cancellation remain available for redemption indefinitely, provided that points-earning activity occurs on the Memberβs account at least once every 24 months. If no points-earning transaction is recorded on the account for a continuous period of 24 months, all remaining points on the account will expire and be removed from the points ledger. Any new points-earning transaction within the 24-month window resets the inactivity period, and all existing points on the account continue to remain valid.
For the purposes of this clause, a βpoints-earning transactionβ means a qualifying purchase at a participating EcoPerks merchant that results in points being credited to the Memberβs account. Redemptions, manual adjustments, and promotional credits do not reset the inactivity period unless EcoForce Global Australia states otherwise.
EcoPerks have no cash value at any time and cannot be refunded, transferred, or exchanged for cash, except where required by law.
Merchants Leaving the Network
EcoPerks issued to a Member by a participating merchant are credited to the Memberβs EcoForce Global Australia account at the time of the qualifying transaction and become part of the Memberβs overall EcoPerks balance.
If a participating merchant later leaves the EcoPerks network, ceases trading, has its participation suspended or terminated, or otherwise stops accepting new transactions, EcoPerks already credited to the Memberβs account in respect of past transactions with that merchant remain valid and redeemable across the wider EcoPerks network, subject to the other terms of this Policy and the EcoPerks Program Rules.
The Member is not entitled to a refund of any membership fee, or to any cash compensation, on the basis that a particular merchant has left the network.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If a Member raises a chargeback, payment dispute, or payment reversal with their bank, card provider, payment platform, or financial institution, EcoForce Global Australia may suspend the Memberβs account while the matter is investigated.
EcoForce Global Australia may also suspend or reverse any EcoPerks, rewards, redemptions, bonuses, commissions, status credits, member benefits, or affiliate entitlements connected to the disputed payment.
If the payment dispute is resolved in EcoForce Global Australiaβs favour, the Member may be required to pay any outstanding membership fees, chargeback costs, payment processing costs, administrative costs, or other reasonable costs incurred by EcoForce Global Australia, to the extent permitted by law.
Failed Payments
If a membership payment fails, is declined, is dishonoured, or cannot be processed, EcoForce Global Australia may attempt to reprocess the payment using the nominated payment method.
If payment is not successfully completed, EcoForce Global Australia may suspend, restrict, or cancel the membership and associated benefits.
EcoForce Global Australia is not responsible for any loss of access, missed benefit, missed promotion, missed EcoPerks allocation, status impact, redemption impact, or affiliate impact caused by a failed, expired, declined, or invalid payment method.
Account Suspension or Termination
EcoForce Global Australia may suspend or terminate a membership where the Member breaches EcoForce Global Australiaβs Terms and Conditions, engages in fraud or suspected fraud, misuses EcoPerks, abuses referral or affiliate systems, provides false or misleading information, breaches promotional rules, attempts to manipulate the program, engages in unlawful conduct, or otherwise acts in a way EcoForce Global Australia reasonably considers harmful to EcoForce Global Australia, its Members, Affiliates, travel agent partners, suppliers, or program integrity.
Where a membership is suspended or terminated for breach, fraud, misuse, or other improper conduct, EcoForce Global Australia is not required to provide a refund, except where required by law.
Refund Method
Where a refund is approved, EcoForce Global Australia will usually process the refund back to the original payment method used for the transaction.
EcoForce Global Australia may use another refund method if the original payment method is unavailable, expired, closed, unsuitable, or where another method is reasonably required.
EcoForce Global Australia will process approved refunds within 10 business days of approval. The time taken for the refund to appear in the Memberβs account will then depend on the Memberβs bank, card issuer, payment processor, payment platform, or financial institution, and is outside EcoForce Global Australiaβs control.
Processing Fees and Third-Party Charges
Payment processing fees, card fees, foreign exchange charges, bank fees, international transaction charges, platform fees, and other third-party charges may not be refundable by EcoForce Global Australia, except where required by law.
Members should contact their bank, card provider, or payment platform if they have questions about third-party charges.
Currency and International Payments
EcoForce Global Australia may accept payments from Members in Australia and internationally.
Where payments are made in a currency other than Australian dollars, refund amounts may be affected by exchange rates, bank fees, international transaction fees, card provider fees, payment processor rules, or currency conversion charges.
EcoForce Global Australia is not responsible for differences caused by currency movement, conversion rates, or third-party fees, except where required by law.
Travel Redemptions and Supplier Refunds
This Policy applies to EcoPerks Rewards membership fees.
Refunds, cancellations, changes, credits, vouchers, supplier charges, and other remedies relating to travel bookings, redemptions, flights, accommodation, cruises, tours, transfers, car hire, rail, experiences, insurance, taxes, fees, and other travel-related services are governed by the EcoPerks Travel Redemption Terms and the terms of the relevant travel supplier, travel agent, booking platform, airline, hotel, cruise line, tour operator, insurer, or other provider.
A refund of a EcoPerks Rewards membership fee does not automatically create any right to refund, reverse, reinstate, or vary a travel booking or redemption.
Affiliate Commissions and Refunds
Where a membership payment generates an affiliate commission, referral reward, team point, bonus, status credit, or other affiliate-related benefit, EcoForce Global Australia may withhold, reverse, claw back, adjust, or offset that benefit if the related membership payment is refunded, reversed, dishonoured, charged back, disputed, found to be fraudulent, or otherwise invalid.
This applies whether the benefit has been credited, pending, approved, paid, or otherwise recorded in the affiliate system.
Further details are set out in the EcoPerks Affiliate Terms and Conditions.
Privacy and Data After Cancellation
Personal information collected by EcoForce Global Australia is handled in accordance with the EcoPerks Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Cancellation of a membership does not, by itself, result in deletion of the Memberβs personal information. EcoForce Global Australia treats Member information as confidential and does not sell, share, or disclose it for marketing by unrelated third parties, except as set out in the Privacy Policy or as required or permitted by law.
EcoForce Global Australia may retain Member information after cancellation for legitimate business, legal, accounting, audit, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, regulatory, and program integrity purposes, including the operation and history of the EcoPerks ledger.
Members may exercise their rights to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal information in accordance with the EcoPerks Privacy Policy and applicable privacy law.
How to Request a Refund Review
A Member who believes they are entitled to a refund or remedy should contact EcoForce Global Australia with the following information:
full name;
email address linked to the membership;
date of payment;
amount paid;
reason for the refund request; and
any supporting information or evidence.
EcoForce Global Australia will review the request and may ask for further information if reasonably required.
Errors and Duplicate Payments
If EcoForce Global Australia identifies that a Member has been charged in error, charged twice for the same membership period, or charged after a valid cancellation was properly completed before the next billing date, EcoForce Global Australia will review the matter and, where appropriate, refund, credit, or correct the affected payment.
Members should notify EcoForce Global Australia as soon as possible if they believe a billing error has occurred.
Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
If a Member has a complaint or dispute about a membership payment, refund, cancellation, EcoPerks adjustment, or any other matter covered by this Policy, the Member should first contact EcoForce Global Australia using the contact details set out in this Policy. EcoForce Global Australia will work in good faith to resolve the matter as quickly and reasonably as possible.
If the matter cannot be resolved directly with EcoForce Global Australia, the Member may have the right to seek assistance from an external body, including:
the Office of Fair Trading Queensland;
the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC); or
the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) or other relevant court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction.
This Policy is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia where applicable. The Member and EcoForce Global Australia submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of Queensland, Australia, in respect of any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Policy.
Policy Changes
EcoForce Global Australia may update, amend, or replace this Policy from time to time. Each version of this Policy will carry a version number and effective date.
The current version of this Policy will be published on the EcoPerks Rewards website or made available through another approved EcoPerks-approved channel. Earlier versions may be made available on request, so that the version applicable to a particular transaction can be identified.
Changes will apply from the date they are published or otherwise notified, unless EcoForce Global Australia states otherwise or applicable law requires a different approach.
Contact
Refund requests, cancellation questions, billing concerns, or payment dispute enquiries should be directed to EcoForce Global Australia using the contact details published on the EcoPerks Rewards website.
Members should keep their contact details, billing information, and payment method up to date to avoid missed notices, failed payments, or membership interruptions.
